A good place for our last night in Ireland, not far from the airport.

It was very quaint and well kept. The staff was friendly. A cute boutique hotel! .

Felt that they were deceptive about the parking as we had no idea it would be as far away from the hotel it would be. My only complaint!

Friendly, small, traditional.

Unfortunately, the heating in the hallway was way up high and we were boiling in our room - had to keep the door open all day while we were there!

Exceptional

The Staunton is a lovely, Georgian style hotel perfectly located in Dublin to many attractions and sites. Breakfast is delicious and convenient, but there are many coffee shops and cafes nearby, too. Our room was very comfortable with nice decor. The staff were excellent! There is a lovely park, St. Stephen's Green, directly across the street. We walked everywhere from our hotel location as it is quite centrally located.

A charming stay, in a charming hotel.

The Staunton was a beautiful, quaint hotel with beautiful furnishes and fittings. It is right across from the park, Stephens Green, which is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling city. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

My room was on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel, and I could hear the street noise. However, even as a light sleeper I was able to still fall asleep.

Classy Georgian period property with great staff, should at least be 4 star, highly recommended

This is a hotel that punches above its weight. Classic old Georgian property, a lovely building. The staff were young, fun, engaging and super helpful. Breakfast was great, served with high quality tableware, the kids thought it was a bit posh haha. We stayed in one of the family rooms downstairs so it's in the lower level basement that you get in older Georgian period houses, but still bright enough and warm feeling. Not a huge room for a family but sufficient for the price (but for more than one night stay you would need a second room). Located on the quiet side of St Stephens Green (this is a good thing) so it's just a few minutes walk to the main shopping area and attractions. This was our first night in Dublin and between the charm and class on display, and great location, it really impressed my family and set a benchmark for the rest of the trip. This hotel is listed as 3 star on Booking dot com, it's much better than that and should at least be a 4 star property.

Being an older Georgian house, its spread over many levels all connected by stairs. But there are young helpful strapping staff on hand to help with your bags. Our porter looked like a European version of Jake Gyllenhaal and was delighted when we told him so.

wonderful hotel, great staff, good breakfast, great location near St. Stephens Green and downtown.

The room was very nice. Really liked the view from the window to the courtyard. Breakfast was wonderful and all staff were kind and helpful.

I don't think I have anything to complain about. It was just a nice stay.

Relaxing, comfortable lovely stay

The excellent layout of the family room, it was spacious, clean, warm with comfy beds. The staff were so welcoming/ helpful and friendly there is a lovely feel about the hotel. Will definitely recommend to family & friends and would stay here again. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable.

An all too brief stay at a lovely city centre hotel with lovely staff. Don’t bring the car!

Truly lovely staff - welcoming, smiling & helpful. Nice surprise to be upgraded on arrival. Beautiful, centre of city, historical property, very old, tastefully decorated, well preserved building overlooking St Stephen’s Green on one side & Iveagh Gardens at back. Well furnished, comfortable bedroom with view of gardens. Delicious served breakfast (extra) though a bonus.

No parking at hotel. Lovely 3rd floor bedroom in the old section building with view but no lift. Bathroom a bit small with some wear & not keen on shower in bath.

Breakfast was not included and we chose not to try it as it was in a basement. Bewleys on Grafton Street had more appeal for breakfast. Rooms were small but clean. Booked for 5 persons, but they provided two double beds. A primitive camp bed was provided which initially they wanted another 20 Euros for. They must have realised themselves that it was cheeky to ask for this so they dropped it from the bill. We did not use the camp bed but instead my smallest ended up in a bed with my wife and I. If I need another hotel in the area, I would consider paying a little more for the Conrad or other similar hotel, as they are hotels, and not guest houses.

A wonderful and pleasant two-night stay at a charming well-managed boutique hotel. Location!

The location, staff and overall pleasantness of the hotel make this a great choice when in Dublin. The bathrooms in both rooms where I stayed were first-class, roomy and classy. The back garden rooms are especially quiet. A served breakfast with many options was perfect.

Some of the rooms are very small, but this is balanced by roomy and classy bathrooms. So, the overall guest space is comfortable.

It was good.

The location was great, easy walking distance to everything in city centre. The staff were excellent. Room was clean and comfy.

Too pricey, although clean and comfy, the room was quite small.

Nice place, good location, unfortunately destroyed by terrible sleeping conditions.

Good location, price, etc. Friendly staff, fine looking rooms. This should be a great deal... however..

It was almost impossible for us to sleep in this room, and on this bed. The room became far too hot. The pillow is extremely soft in a very uncomfortable way. The covers make noise with every move you make. Ironically we slept way better in the middle of Temple Bar than here. As a result this nice hotel became completely useless and a place we'll never visit again.

Comfortable bed, clean and close to the park

Room was great - comfortable bed, clean and had plenty of room to put your bag. Bathroom was also nice.

It did get a bit hot in the room. But we just opened the bathroom window to let some cold air in and then it was fine.
